Being a member allows you to join in all the activities we provide. Our members participate in projects throughout the month such as Show & Tell, Block of the Month, Coffee Chat, Travel, Zoom Sew Ins, Retreats, In-Person Sew Ins and enjoy a monthly program consisting of speakers or social activity at our General Meetings. As a member, our monthly newsletter will outline all the activities, and our website Calendar makes sure you don’t miss anything!
BLOCK OF THE MONTH
The BOM Committee provides a featured block each month to the members. The committee choses a variety of techniques for the BOM. A photo of a sample block with directions and any other relevant information is sent out to members by email each month by the President. At the guild meeting a drawing is held from the names of members who completed and submitted a BOM. The winner is given a prize to be determined by the BOM Committee. The BOM’s turned in are made into comfort quilts to be donated. This is a great way to learn new techniques and to help with our comfort quilt donation program
SHOW & TELL
Show & Tell is an inspiring part of the monthly meetings. At the end of the program, members get to come up and “show and tell” about any quilt they have finished or are currently working on.
Everyone from a beginner quilter to experienced share their quilts to the guild. Such great stories and inspiration are gathered by viewing all the wonderful quilts!
